DEFENSE & SECURITY 2015 –
Beyond Expectations!

Today is the last day of DEFENSE & SECURITY 2015 - the biannual Tri-Service event for Land, Sea & Air plus Internal Security. The show has been held over four busy days in Bangkok, Thailand and reconfirmed the event as one of the largest and most important military exhibitions in the region. We are delighted to inform you that DEFENSE & SECURITY 2015 exceeded all expectations for both exhibitors and visitors. .

The overall objective for 2015 was to establish linkage and create business opportunities for manufacturers of military hardware and software from around the world - especially from ASEAN nations. Another goal was to confirm the event as a powerful international and regional networking exhibition that would provide opportunities for companies to break new ground in the ASEAN defence and security industries.

RISING TO THE TOP

With it’s 7th edition DEFENSE & SECURITY has become a ‘must-attend’ event for all in the defence and security business and has doubled in size every year since its inception. The 2015 event expanded by more than 30% and featured over 340 companies from over 40 countries with over 20 National Pavilions.

Two International Seminars on ‘Defence Industry Collaboration’ and ‘Cyber Security Seminar and Desktop Exercise’ were conducted by the Thai Ministry of Defence. Both were attended by hundreds of industry professionals..

DEFENSE & SECURITY 2015 hosted more than 13,000 visitors and over hundred official and non-official delegations lead by Ministers of Defence, Chiefs of Army, Navy, Airforce and Armed Forces from both Thai and ASEAN countries. As noted, the results greatly exceeded all projections.
