Thai Prime Minister Orders Purchase of State-of-the-Art Security Equipment

 

As recently reported in the Bangkok Post, Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has ordered the purchase of state-of-the art equipment to upgrade security checks on people entering and leaving the country. The Prime Minister instructed agencies involved to look into acquiring state-of-the-art security equipment that is able to efficiently connect to information databases. Sufficient funds will be allocated for this purpose. The government has already prepared plans for security at all areas of concern - airports, bus terminals sea ports and border crossings.

Today the demand for internal security equipment is greater than ever. Terrorists can strike anywhere at any time and the ability to protect citizens, businesses and governments is critical.
