HVDC UNDERSEA CABLE"

Countries around Indonesia are competing to realize interconnection between countries with Asia Supergrid and China with its Super Grid. Indonesia also has a dream to connect between islands, which famously known as the Nusantara Super Grid. Nusantara Super Grid is an interconnection of islands in Indonesia which will be linked to a toll road for electricity. This interconnection will cover a long distance grid system which can be a challenge in the implementation itself. However, there is already a solution in mind, namely using direct current (DC) power transmission. This transmission will use High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) technology. This webinar will elaborate how Nusantara Super & Renewable Grid can support the Country to realize equitable electricity and to maximize the potential of renewable energy in Indonesia.
