DEFENSE & SECURITY 2017 - HUGE EXPANSION EXPECTED

Following the recent visit by the DEFENSE & SECURITY 2017 team to Eurosatory 2016, IFSEC International 2016 and Farnborough International Airshow 2016, feedback from our valued exhibitors and potential exhibiting companies has been excellent. The response from pavilion organizers has also been impressive, especially from national pavilion organizers such as SIBAT (The International Defense Cooperation Directorate of the Israel Ministry of Defense), DEO (Defence Exhibition Organisation, India), UKROBORONPROM (Ukrainian Defence Industry), and SSM (Undersecretariat for Defence Industries, Turkey).

At our last edition, Turkey Pavilion was the biggest at the show covering more than 900 sqm. With the outstanding success enjoyed by the Turkish defence and security manufacturers, SSM has already reserved an even bigger space for the upcoming event.

SAAB, MBDA and Thales have also reserved space and expressed interest to expand from the previous edition.

As part of our road show promotion, the team also visited Chinese defence manufacturers and State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defence (SASTIND). SASTIND expressed a strong interest in organizing an official Chinese Pavilion again at DEFENSE & SECURITY 2017. The companies that the team visited were CETC, Poly Technologies, INC., Aerospace Longmarch (ALIT), China Shipbuilding & Offshore (CSOC), China North Industries Group Corporation (NORINCO), NUTECH, and Granpect.

DEFENSE & SECURITY 2017 is the ideal venue and business platform for enhancing cooperation and partnerships that bring together manufacturers, delegations, military decision-makers and related government officials from around the world. This applies especially to ASEAN. The event is an outstanding opportunity to exchange knowledge and do hardcore business. DEFENSE & SECURITY 2017 is expected to expand further with exhibitors and the number of high-ranking decision makers from around the world.

The official Post Show Survey on our last edition revealed that over 85% of exhibitors were satisfied with the business opportunities presented. Almost 96% confirmed their participation again in 2017, with one third stating they will take a much bigger exhibition space.
