Global robot sales continue to grow here and its forecast that in 2021 sales will increase to the level of 630,000 units and ASIA is being the top contributor. It is estimated that Thailand imported around 3,400 units, ranking 15th in the world. When classification into industries which use robotics, the top 5 industries are Electrical / Electronic Industries, Steel Industries, Rubber and Plastics Industries, and Food & Beverage industries. In 2018, the value of imported machinery and robotics was 671,551 million baht. This is an import of machinery and robotics used in the industrial sector worth 582,389 million baht, followed by the agricultural sector worth 20,138 million baht and the rest being other sectors such as the service sector with more than 69,O24 million.
